How To Make A Short "Stop Motion" Video Using Your Smartphone

About a month ago, my husband tried to explain to me that there was this new feature on my phone that would allow me to create short animated videos. I am NOT tech savvy and probably don't use half of the features on my phone. So, I pretty much ignored it....until now.

The boys love battling with their superheroes, legos, dinosaurs, etc. So, I thought it would be kinda cool to see if we could make a small video. Here's how we did it:

If you have an updated smartphone (I have a Samsung Galaxy S6), take a few pics back to back (moving a little each time...yourself or an action figure/doll). Once you are done, click on the "MORE" link in the top right corner of your "CAMERA" gallery (photos). You should see an "ANIMATE" link. Click that link and select all the pics you would like to go in your video. You can also speed it up or slow it down, edit, add a banner and a few other things. Click "SAVE" and you are done!

I know there are "Stop Motion" apps but we haven't gotten around to downloading any yet. This is a great way to get some practice (and also turn your family photos into cool motion videos)!

Here is the video we made:
